Dr. Satish Kumar is the Founder and Pastor of Calvary Temple which is the world's fastest growing church and also the biggest Evangelical Church with over 350 thousand members in just 17 years. God has enabled Dr. Satish Kumar to build one of the world's largest churches in just 52 days with over 18,000 seating capacity. Today Calvary Temple has 50,000 seating facilities within the campus. Dr. Satish Kumar is the first Indian preacher ever to preach in the Olympic stadium in SEOUL, and he was honored with Doctorate from the very prestigious university, DALLAS BAPTIST UNIVERSITY. He is also the keynote speaker for NRB, Global Leadership Summit, Asia Leaders Summit, Purpose Driven Conference, and COICOM Latin American Conference. Dr. Satish Kumar also preached along with world class preachers like Dr. Yonggi Cho, Dr. T. L. Osborn, Dr. Rick Warren, Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. R. C. Sproul etc. He is the board member of Church Growth International (CGI) founded by Dr. Yonggi Cho, and also an honorary board member of MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE in Washington D.C.
It all began when God miraculously met Dr. Satish Kumar at the age of 12 and called him to be His prophet according to Jer 1:4-5. As the result of God's calling Dr. Satish Kumar began preaching at the age of 18 and founded the Calvary Youth Mission at the age of 21. He was ordained in London at 27 and was elected as the Bishop of the International Ministerial Council of Great Britain at the age of 29. He began publishing the bi-monthly magazine in 2001 with 4000 copies but today it is the largest circulated magazine in India with over 100,000 copies. In 2003 Dr. Satish Kumar began preaching in television with one program but today he produces over 650 satellite television programs every month in 17 languages reaching millions of souls every day.
Dr. Satish Kumar donated 1400 tons of food to the poor and needy during COVID-19 and reached 37,000 families with one month's worth of grocery food kits. Supported more than 10,000 pastors and families during covid pandemic. Dr. Satish Kumar is the first Pastor in the world to turn Churches into Covid Care Centres and provided free medicine, free treatment, free oxygen, free protein food and free accommodation to the people who were affected with Covid during the Second wave in the year 2020.
