Pastor Masako grew up in a pastoral family leading Kanazawa Christ Church in Yokohama, Japan. She answered a call to ministry by attending Bible College in Malaysia in 1992, where she met her husband, Roy.

From 2000 to 2020, Pastor Masako and Roy served in an international ministry under Rev. Dr. Yukio Funatsu. In July 2020, they were appointed pastors of Kanazawa Christ Church. Pastor Masako was elected as Senior Pastor in April 2023, continuing her family's legacy of faith and service.
