For decades, Alex Clattenburg has served as a spiritual voice in the city of Orlando, Florida. Occasionally, you can hear him joke that he was never called into the ministry but was drafted over time. His early days in Orlando were spent in a downtown bank high-rise negotiating large land real estate deals that effectively changed his perspective regarding the business community and their need to have a personal relationship with Christ.
Beginning as a youth Pastor, his heart for our next generation is evident as well as his passion for bringing the Gospel to the hurting people of Orlando.

Kids in the Son
Kids in the Son is the vibrant and energetic children's ministry here at Church In The Son. Every week we host exciting services with fun games, creative bible teaching, and a few surprises to help your child grow in their knowledge of God. From birth to 4th grade there is specific classrooms and volunteer teams trained to help your child grow in their faith.
Buddy Break
Through the ministry of Buddy Break, we can engage children with special needs. Trained volunteers lovingly serve these children and do whatever it takes to help them learn about Jesus on their level. Every child matters to us.
The Mix Mid
The Mix Mid is a ministry just for your middle school student. Every Sunday we meet upstairs at the 11am service (after adult worship). The Mix Mid is a place where middle schoolers can feel like they belong, and grow closer to God with a community of believers. In the Mix Mid we have fun, we learn about God, and we often enjoy small groups at the end of service.
The Mix The Mix Orlando is our student ministry for students from 6th-12th grade. It's designed to give them a place where they can connect with God, with other people, and have fun. The Mix Orlando exists to reach students who may be far from God and to teach them how to follow Jesus step-by-step. If anyone is going to change the world, it's our next generation.
God First
Whether you are well established in your Christian life, new to the faith, interested in membership or serving opportunities, God First is for you. Join us for a great teaching, new friends & refreshments.
Roots
Discipleship class for those who are new to the faith or need to strengthen their roots. Learn more about yourself and develop your journey with Jesus.
Small groups
At Church In The Son, we are passionate about building relationships and sharing the love of God with the communities surrounding us. That's why we desire that everyone would get involved in a Small Group and invite friends, coworkers, and neighbors to their small groups and special events. Our Small Groups are a vital extension of our larger corporate church experience and meet throughout the great city of Orlando and surrounding areas. The Small Group environment fosters a more intimate setting to connect with people like you, to hang out, pray, and get to know each other as you grow in your walk with Christ.
Freedom in the Son
Freedom In The Son is a Christ centered and Bible based Recovery Group for both men and women wanting to get free and stay free.
The Men & Women God Encounters
A God Encounter is where people receive life-changing ministry, helping them to break free of obstacles preventing them from becoming all that they can be in the Body of Christ.
The Store House
We provide grocery essentials, prayer, and encouragement.
We, as a church family also have a prayer ministry, evangelism teams, missions teams, bible studies, group events and much more, as to offer the opportunity for ALL to use their God given gifts to reach the people far from God in Orlando, Florida.
Church In The Son has been a beacon of light for the city of Orlando over more than 30 years. The heart of our church is to Love God, Love People, Affect The World.
