Dr. Dag Heward-Mills is a medical doctor by profession and the Founder and Presiding Bishop of the United Denominations comprising 15 denominations.
Bishop Heward-Mills oversees this charismatic denomination from its headquarters in Accra, Ghana. His ministry has developed into a worldwide network of over 5000 churches in 100 countries of the world. He currently pastors the First Love Church, comprising students of the university and other tertiary institutions.
Dr. Heward-Mills is a prolific author of 85 bestselling books, with 35 million books published in 52 international languages. He has written more than one hundred songs and is also a renowned international conference speaker.
Ministry Introduction
This ministry is actively involved in evangelism and mass evangelistic crusades. Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills is an international healing evangelist. His personal passion for soul-winning and church growth has resulted, not only in worldwide churches, but also in mass evangelism crusades known as the Healing Jesus Campaigns. Healing Jesus Campaigns have been held in 148 venues across 23 countries.
Another aspect of this ministry is the Anagkazo Bible & Ministry Training Centre. Bishop Dag Heward-Mills established the Anagkazo Bible & Ministry Training Centre, a Bible School dedicated to training and equipping pastors and missionaries for the work of ministry.
He also founded the Ghana Charismatic Bishops Conference and the National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches in Ghana.
He is a member of the Boards of Church Growth International, the Pentecostal World Fellowship and Empowered21.
The ministry's medical outreach has established a hospital, an orphanage and the Help-the-Helpless Charity. St. Kathryn's Hospital in Accra, a 40-bed medical facility providing general medical and surgical care with special services including the following obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology and general surgery. Help-the-Helpless Charity is a compassion centre of assistance that renovates schools for the physically challenged, renovates hospital wards and prisons, provides braille machines and textbooks for blind students, sponsors surgery for blind children and visits prisons and orphanages.
